Public Transport
Public Buses do not connect to the Invercargill Airport. However, once you are in the city, the public buses are easy to use and are very affordable. Please see www.icc.govt.nz for more information.
Your best options to get from the airport to the city centre is using the available taxi services or airport shuttle.

Regional transport companies operate routes between Invercargill Airport and South Island cities and towns. Vehicles range from luxury air-conditioned coaches to efficient mini-vans.
Note: Some services only call at the airport if a passenger is pre-booked.

Invercargill – Bluff coach transfers connect with each ferry departure and arrival (must be pre-booked). The coach from Invercargill departs one hour before the ferry leaves from Bluff. The coach transfer from Bluff to Invercargill returns passengers to Invercargill, one hour after the ferry berths.
